Here are some before/during and after photos of a few recent titanium frames. First is a Ti Planet X for Vonn, featuring a 44mm head tube and S&S couplers. Vonn chose a shot-peen finish with clear on black decals for his frame. His frame-set also came with a steel fork.
Next is a Ti Factory Lightweight for Craig. Craig picked Matte Black on Gloss Black for his paint scheme.
And last is another Ti Factory Lightweight with Matte Black on Meteorite Silver Metallic for James.
Here's a new Steel Club Racer for Anthony, ordered through the great folks at Carytown Bike Co. in Richmond, VA. Anthony's frame features a 44mm head tube, matched up with a tapered carbon Whiskey fork. Anthony's frame also has a few special paint details including 2-color outline logos (in Sprout Green and White) on his seat tube/head tube, and matching Club Racer club stripes on his fork legs.
Our coworker Caroline was looking for a bike to ride to and from work, so we took an old SSR (that had been heavily raced) and we breathed new life into it! She picked a 3/4 Sprout Green paint job with Pink on White decals, and we built the frame up with parts we found around the shop. Needless to say, Caroline was as happy as a kid in a candy store.
Jack saw our XS OS at this year's North American Handmade Bike Show in Denver, CO. He loved it so much that he visited us all the way from Dallas, TX for an XS of his own. It was great fun showing Jack around the shop, fitting him, and helping him pick out paint colors (always the hardest choice to make!). As you can see, Jack chose Ruby Red Pearl painted lugs. He also asked us to paint his children's signatures on his fork, and a positive quote on his chainstay. Jack later swapped these wheels out for ENVE SES 3.4 Tubulars with matching blue Chris King hubs.
Here's a new SSR, built for Roos using Max tubing. The main difference between this and our standard stainless tubing is a bi-ovalized top tube and down tube, which not only looks great but increases the frame's overall stiffness as well. Roos requested a 3/4 paint job with a larger than average seat tube panel. Freshwater Pearl, Gloss Black, and Corsa Red adorn the frame and fork.
