what's the derivation of the name 'Corvid'?
are they TI dropouts?
what size approx is that example?
questions...questions....
It looks fantastico anyhows...
Jamie Medeiros, the project leader on this has a nickname: "The Brown Bird". The fact being that the bike is black and not brown, our initial thought was "Blackbird", but there were too many military connotations, so we went with the scientific classification of birds in the Corvidae family, containing some of the smartest birds (which happen to be mostly black) such as: ravens, crows and magpies.
See Corvids: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Corvids
The dropouts are two piece welded 6Al/4Va titanium bonded and screwed.
The size is: ST is 52cm TT is 55.5cm.
Very cool! Thanks for the process photos. Must be some birders working there, which is also Very cool!
sick. what's the plan for decals with clear coat or no clear coat? approximate weight?
